Our Heritage
Before it was a studio, it was a single loom.
Milan Silk Studio began on the outskirts of Kanchipuram, where a young weaver refused to shorten a saree's weaving time even when it cost him orders. Three generations later, we still buy silk by hand-feel rather than certificate alone, and we still turn away buyers who want an eighteen-day saree finished in eight. Today the studio works with 212 weaving families across Kanchipuram and Varanasi, and every saree that leaves our atelier carries a signed card from the artisan who wove it.

Made-to-order Bridal Reserve and Limited Edition pieces are final sale. Ready-to-wear pieces can be exchanged within 7 days, unworn with tags intact.
Wrap in muslin cloth, avoid direct plastic contact, and re-fold along a different crease every few months to prevent the zari from cracking.
Ready-to-wear pieces are refundable within 7 days of delivery if unworn and unused; made-to-order pieces are final sale. Full policy sent with every order confirmation.
